Ecohouse can bring together all project participants, including the homeowners, architect, subcontractors and materials suppliers and provide education and project oversight, so that all participants are working toward the same goal. We can act as the Building Consultant in helping you create a home that is healthy, comfortable, resource efficient, durable, and well loved by its inhabitants.

Super insulated, passive solar home built by Kevin Eigel of Ecohouse LLC
Kevin Eigel designed and built a super energy efficient house in 2002 that incorporates an airtight, super insulated envelope, passive solar design, radiant floor heating, high efficiency windows, doors, lighting and appliances, and heat recovery ventilation. Kevin has continued to study energy efficient building technology including Passive House construction practices that have been developed in Europe. Passive Houses use 80% less energy than homes built to the current US building codes. Ecohouse seeks to assist people who wish to build homes that will be viable far into the future.
