Ecohouse helps homeowners and small business owners in Central Ohio reduce their utility bills and impact on the environment with Solar energy installations and practical energy efficiency solutions.

Since 2008, Ecohouse has installed dozens of high quality residential and small commercial solar energy systems and has completed more than 2,000 energy audits, helping many families and small businesses reduce their utility expenses. We make it easy for you to install a Solar Electric system. We also help you identify easy ways to save energy by performing energy audits.

Kevin Eigel, the owner of Ecohouse, designed and built a passive solar, super energy efficient home in 2002, and added Solar Electric and Solar Thermal systems in 2009.  "Renewable energy and energy conservation is not just a job. I am commited to reducing energy use because I care about how future generations will be impacted by our actions today."

Ecohouse has in-depth experience with Energy Efficiency and Solar Energy.  Kevin Eigel and Ecohouse have worked in the Federal "Home Weatherization Assistance Program", Columbia Gas's "Home Performance Solutions" program  and AEP Ohio's energy efficiency and renewable energy programs. Kevin and Ecohouse contractors are certified through the BPI (Building Performance Institute), RESNET (Residential Energy Service Network) and by NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners).
